- Jason and Ali didn’t get along too well, he mostly saw Ali and her friends as an annoyance. Ali was good at blackmail and it was implied that she wanted her grandmother to write him out of the will. Clearly he has motive.
- In season 1, Jenna commented that she “got the impression that he was different. He sounded different.”
- Spencer was in her bedroom window looking out at the loft watching her sister and Wren. Whoever sent Spencer the email from A had to be someone who could see Spencer at her window, say Jason in Ali’s bedroom window next door?
- Could have gotten a hold of Ali’s diary when she went missing, looking for clues…but instead got sidetracked by all of the secrets.
- “Jason” said he was high for most of the August before Ali disappeared – with Ian – and that Ian practically lived at Jason’s house after he broke up with Melissa.
- Admits that he was jealous of Ali and how she was always the one who pleased their parents; he wished he had been more like her. A essentially pretends to be Alison…
- Was (or is, if it’s still going on) part of the N.A.T. club and has access to surveillance equipment.
- We’ve never seen inside the DiLaurentis house other than Ali’s old room. It may be where A’s lair is. Convenient location in the neighborhood to spy on the girls.
Jason graduated from Rosewood High School.
We’ve heard his voice several times.
It has been speculated that Jason may be Spencer’s half brother. If that rings true, he may be most interested in her (she’s the strongest liar, in my opinion) and knows a good way to break Spencer down is through Toby.
Jason is athletic and athletes always want to improve cardio, strength, etc.
May only want Spencer to find out (potential sibling, see above) or Aria because he was (or still is?) into her.
May care about one or more of them because they were Ali’s friends, but also hate them for keeping Ali’s secrets or other reasons we have yet to find out…so that would make it a thin line between love and hate.
He’s a good looking guy, I could imagine him saying something vain like he’s the “prettiest” liar.
Familiar in Rosewood for being the sibling of murdered Ali, used to attend Rosewood High School and still goes there to talk to troubled teenagers.
We have been (slowly) learning more about his relationship with Ali, perhaps more in 2B?

- In episode 203 when the trash spills in his driveway, there are Chinese food takeout boxes in it. Either it’s just a coincidence or he works at a Chinese restaurant and brought home his own food after sabotaging other orders…
